About me

Profile Image

Hi, I’m Aditya Rao, a software engineer with 4+ years of experience building scalable systems and applications. I'm currently pursuing my Master’s in Software Engineering at San José State University, where I recently interned at Snap-on Diagnostics. There, I enhanced core automation infrastructure in C++ and Python, enabling high-throughput workflows for automotive diagnostic platforms. Previously, I was a Senior Software Engineer at PharmEasy, India’s largest healthcare platform (25M+ users), where I built microservices in Java, Kotlin, and JavaScript, focusing on payments, offers, and order management. At MiQ, I led service migrations from Docker to Kubernetes and built React-based dashboards for real-time ad-performance metrics.

Outside of work, I enjoy applying new technologies creatively—I’ve won multiple national and global hackathons and co-founded COSMOS, a platform promoting computer science education. I’m currently seeking full-time Software Development Engineering roles where I can build high-impact systems and solve challenging problems at scale.
